Patricia Duff Ferguson's work is impressionistic, characterized by vivid colors. Paintings are based on life's experiences and a strong feeling for the subject. Whether it is a beach, dog, palm tree or the green hills of Vermont, the painting will ring with soul! Pat is now exploring abstract impressionism in oil, acrylic and mixed mediums.

A graduate of the University of Miami and a career teacher, she has studied sculpture under Boris Blai, and painting with Furman Finck, of Philadelphia. Since living in Vermont, she has attended Vermont Studio Center in Johnson. In 1998 Pat won the Award of Excellence-Oil Painting-For Art's Sake, Stowe, VT. and in l996 her painting of "Timo" was the cover for "The Borzoi Quarterly" magazine. Her work is in private collections throughout the United States and Canada, and can also be seen at Round House Studio/Gallery in Troy, Vt.
