“Seeing” often requires effort…but it is worth it.
Artist Biography:

US Navy veteran- aircrewman (ASW) and electronic technician

A native of South Jersey, I moved to Vermont with my wife Elizabeth in 2004. Although I have had many artistic pursuits in life, including painting, lapidary, woodworking, and stained glass, photography has always been my passion.   While in New Jersey, I participated in hundreds of art shows from Long Beach Island to Cape May, while also providing wedding and special event photography with a slightly different style.  My love of New England however, necessitated the move to Vermont, where I could find a new dimension for outdoor photography.  The changing seasons, combined with the natural beauty of the landscape provide opportunities for me to capture these scenes and hopefully, share them with others.   Photography is “visual commentary” through which I hope to inspire people to appreciate the beauty of even the simplest things in a more personal way: a single rose, an evening sunset, or the pattern of seashells on the beach- all are unique and enrich our experience.

My work has been featured in the   Maine Winter Guide, National Cranberries Magazine, and other publications.  Awards have been presented at Art Shows in:  Media, Pennsylvania, St. Michaels, Maryland, the New Jersey shore including LBI, Stone Harbor, Cape May, Avalon, and Art at the Oval in Livingston, NJ.
