Artist Biography:
Mary Alice Brenner
I am beginning to realize how much pure work art is. I have been painting seriously since retirement and taking lessons to improve my technique and I now know I have a long way to go. It is a joy to paint and I am so encouraged by my fellow artists and artistic children and grandchildren. I also appreciate comments received from those who view my work and am gratified when I sell some of my paintings.

My watercolor paintings have been shown with the Wooden Horse Arts Guild and Memphremagog Arts Collaborative and Cedarwood Resort Art Gallery. Recent classes in watercolor include studies with Kay Maynard, Annelein Beukenkamp, Karen Vernon and Lisa Beach.

My main passion is gardening and in 2002 I opened Mary's Garden at my home in Westfield. I sell herbs and perennials from May 1 until frost. I invite all my artistic friends to visit anytime to enjoy the gardens and paint with me.
