Helen Joy Gardener was born and educated in England where she attended the Folkstone School of Art, Folkstone, Kent, specializing in Fine Art. Over the past twenty-five years Helen has worked in the print and graphics industry both here and in her native England. As an illustrator, she freelances for magazines and creates greeting cards. Her mural painting is widely known and brings the cheer of gardens into homes and businesses. Helen is also an herbalist and a polarity practioner. Her deep knowledge of and appreciation for plants is reflected in her work.

Helen's work is displayed at Tamarack Gallery in East Craftsbury. Her wonderful murals can be seen at Lago Trattoria, Newport; Angie's Haven, Brownington; and on her website.
