Born and raised in Vermont, I have grown to love the outdoors and rural way of life we are lucky to live. I have been in the military since 1992 in the Marines and the Vermont Air National Guard. I live and work in Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom, enjoying the hunting, fishing, and freedom it offers. I began drawing in my early thirties and quickly developed a love for Pen & Ink. In my opinion Pen & Ink is one of the simplest and cleanest art forms. I enjoy creating unforgettable pictures full of detail and depth produced by a series of dots and simple lines. With a dip pen and a bottle of India ink, I enjoy bringing to life images, in black and white. Drawing from my experience of the outdoors, rural life, military attention to detail, and a little bit of patience, I create my work. Drawing wildlife, portraits, buildings, pets, and more, I work to capture all the detail and personality of my subject. Originals, prints, and commission work are available.
