Camilla Mead
Doll Maker
Specializing in reproduction antique dolls and antique doll restoration
Artist Biography:
In 1995, after years of raising a family, directing church choral and Handbell choirs on Cape Cod, I "discovered" the art of making porcelain dolls. Today my reproduction antique dolls and others are sold coast to coast. I continue to make dolls in my small studio in North Troy, pouring the molds and carefully recreating new dolls from start to the last stitch in the clothing."The reproduction dolls of today are the antique dolls of tomorrow" While Camilla no longer displays her work at doll shows around the Northeast, her Dolls may be purchased from this website or www.roseappleacres.com or at her studio in North Troy. She continues to repair and/or restore antique and vintage dolls. Examples can be seen at www.roseappleacres.com To order or for more information, contact the artist:
