Our Mission

The mission of the Wooden Horse Arts Guild in North Troy, Vermont, is that of building the Community through the Arts. Its purpose is to provide an organization and physical space where artists and patrons of the arts may come together in the community for mutual support, education and commerce. The artists of the Guild are encouraged to be visible to the Communities of Northern Vermont and to help in activities which make the Communities grow. We execute our mission through our website, our Annual Meeting, State projects, giving artists and craftspersons the opportunity to show and sell their works to the public, and encouraging the youth of the area to grow in their artistic abilities.

On Jan. 25, 2008, the Wooden Horse Arts Guild received the long-awaited word from the Internal Revenue Service that the Guild was granted the 501(c)(3) status of the Internal Revenue Code. This was very good news for those who wish to donate to this fast-growing and hard-working art guild. All donations are now tax-deductible under the Internal Revenue Code.
