The Wooden Horse Arts Guild and the Rand Memorial Library in North Troy promoted the PHOTO FUN CONTEST for young photographers in three categories: People, Animals and Nature. Twenty children from ages 3 to 12 entered the contest in October, 2008. Judging was done by seven impartial persons who volunteered their time and expertise to choose the 20 winning photos.

All 41 photographs were displayed on Sunday, November 23 at the HOLIDAY GIFT SHOW presented by the Wooden Horse Arts Guild. Visitors were given the opportunity to vote for "People's Favorite" and, at the close of the event, the winners were presented with cash awards and ribbons. Each participant also received a special certificate. The Wooden Horse Arts Guild and the Rand Memorial Library are proud of the talents of our young friends. We congratulate them!
